On 13 March 2025, a group of eight students (four male and four female) from the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Jahangirnagar University, visited FronTech Limited’s headquarters in Mohakhali and the Innovation Lab of the iDEA Project at the ICT Division, Agargaon, as part of their industrial attachment program. The visit aimed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world industry exposure, allowing students to gain hands-on insights into product development processes, embedded systems, and emerging technologies. At FronTech, they observed the development of locally designed IoT and robotics solutions, including the company’s flagship JRC Board, as well as internationally sourced robotics kits used for student training and competitions. Students also learned about FronTech’s training ecosystem, which has empowered over 23,000 learners and developed more than 1,000 IoT projects nationwide.

Later, at the iDEA Innovation Lab, Abul Kalam Ahsanul Azad, Consultant and Manager (Lab Operation/Training/Experience Zone), provided an in-depth demonstration of industrial-grade robots, PCB prototyping tools, testing equipment, and PLC machines available at the lab. The session gave students practical exposure to advanced prototyping and automation technologies that are rarely accessible at the university level. The visit concluded with a knowledge-sharing session on industry trends in electronics and embedded systems, after which the students received goodie bags from FronTech as a token of appreciation. The experience motivated the students to explore careers in IoT, robotics, and embedded systems, reinforcing the importance of academia-industry collaboration for future innovation leaders.
