On 20 July 2025, as part of the University Activation Program of the iDEA Project under the ICT Division, Redwan Ferdous, Managing Director of FronTech Limited and Co‐Founder of JRC Board, conducted a Startup Masterclass at the University of Barishal, attended by 100+ students. The session was graced by Professor Dr. Mohammad Taufiq Alam, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of Barishal, Siddhartho Goushami, Sr. Consultant | Operation Specialist (Team Leader) from the iDEA Project, and Murtuza Zulkar Nain Noman, Joint Secretary and Project Director of the iDEA Project.
During the session, Redwan discussed how he addressed the market need for a locally developed ecosystem for IoT product development through the JRC Board, how support from the iDEA Project accelerated that journey, and how students can benefit from early entrepreneurial engagement. He also shared the unseen challenges and pressures of entrepreneurship, motivating students to embrace innovation with resilience while exploring opportunities in the growing startup ecosystem.
