Redwan Ferdous, Managing Director of FronTech Limited and Co‑founder of the JRC Board, was a featured speaker at the Orange Corners Bangladesh Showcase: Changemaker’s Meet during the 9th Social Business Youth Summit 2025, held on February 1–2 in Dhaka. The Summit, hosted by YY Ventures, brought together global changemakers, social entrepreneurs, investors, and youth leaders, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Jurriaan Middelhoff (Orange Corners Global), and Lamiya Morshed (Yunus Centre). The two‑day event featured panel discussions, networking sessions, startup showcases, and workshops aimed at addressing pressing global and local challenges through social innovation.

In his speech, Redwan shared FronTech’s journey of developing Bangladesh’s first locally designed IoT development platform—the JRC Board—built to empower innovators and solve challenges in agriculture, healthcare, and education. He highlighted how 23,000+ students have been trained, over 1,000 IoT projects developed, and 4,500+ students benefitting from Bangladesh’s first Smart School Bus system. He also shared the company’s achievements of winning five national and international awards, generating $80,000 in revenue, and securing $50,000 in grants within two years.
Redwan concluded by envisioning a future of empowering 10,000 youth innovators by 2030 and expanding to 50+ countries, emphasizing how locally driven IoT solutions can transform industries and create global impact. His call for collaboration with students, educators, entrepreneurs, and investors resonated with the summit’s vision of fostering changemakers.
